Chief Executive Edmund Ho was scheduled to visit the Western Guangdong from tomorrow (2 April) to Friday (4 April) to meet with Provincial and Municipal leaders and look at recent developments.
Mr. Ho will start his visit with a meeting with the Governor of Guangdong Province, Huang Huahua in Guangzhou.
Mr Ho will then visit the cities of Zhanjiang, Maoming and Yangjiang, during which he will meet with the Mayors of the three cities respectively and will visit some infrastructures, enterprises and tourist spots.
The Chief Executive will be accompanied by the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Francis Tam, who heads a official delegation of some 20 members.
The delegation is scheduled to return Macao on 4 April.
Scretary for Public Administration and Justice, Florinda Chan, will be the acting Chief Executive from 2 to 4 April.
