The Macao Consumer Council and Shenzhen Consumer Council collaborated and conducted a test on 15 face washes for men. All products tested passed the safety test, the test report in the latest issue 329 Consumer Report lists out the cleaning and oil-controlling effect of all products to help consumers choose.

Result of all tested samples from both regions satisfactory

The Macao Consumer Council collaborated with Consumer Councils in Shenzhen and conducted a test on 15 kinds of face washes for men, test result shows that the pH value, contents of heavy metal and microorganisms in all samples are satisfactory, no harmful dioxane has been found in any of the tested samples.

For the effectiveness of cleaning and oil-controlling, as well as sensory evaluation, such as lathering, ease of cleaning, dryness after cleaning and mildness, all criteria tested can all be found in the test report to let consumer make comparison.

“Consumer Online” offers simple, user-friendly and efficient e-service

“Consumer Online” is a one-step e-service platform launched by the Consumer Council in which consumers may utilize services on the platform whenever they want. “Consumer Online” is simple to use, user-friendly and efficient, consumers are suggested to lodge their complaint, make inquiry, or check their case status through the platform; other news and coverage on activities organized by the Consumer Council can also be found on the platform.

Overview on the operation of Mediation and Arbitration Centre

The “Macao Consumer Arbitration Centre” was renamed “Macao Consumer Mediation and Arbitration Centre”at the end of 2020, the operation of the Centre and its advantages are explained in the current monthly magazine.

A consumer alert on choosing Chinese New Year festive foods, especially on the package, expiry date, and other hygienic and safety issues is available in the magazine as well.

Consumers may access the magazine on the Council’s official website and WeChat official account. Consumer Report is also available free of charge at the Council (Av. Horta e Costa, N.º 26, Edf. Clementina Ho), and the service counter of the Council at Macao SAR Government Service Centre (Rua Nova da Areia Preta, Nº52), Public Information Centre at Vicky Plaza, libraries, and bookstores.
