Secretary for Economy and Finance, Francis Tam, today (18 September) confirmed that the Government had received the application for online betting on horse races from the Macao Jockey Club.

Francis said that due to the complication of the application, the authority would need longer time to make a deep analysis on the application and decision would not be made within short period.
