The project “Stay, Dine and See Macao” is officially unveiled for the first stage, attracting a multitude of enthusiastic applicants especially for the Helicopter Ride Experience and Yacht Check-in Tour. Given the limited quotas and to uphold the principle of fairness in the process of quota distribution, lots will be drawn to assign quotas to applicants. Interested residents can apply at accredited travel agencies for entering the lots before 18:00 next Monday (19 April).
The “Stay, Dine and See Macao” project now welcomes the public to apply for the Helicopter Ride Experience and Yacht Check-in Tour from today until next Monday (19 April). After the application deadline, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and the Task Force will conduct electronic lots on 20th April and announce the results on the same day. In accord with the order of the lots’ results, applicants will be assigned their respective order of priority to sign up for the tour. If quotas are full on their pre-selected tour dates, applicants numbered by the lots can opt for other tour dates, but cannot change their prior preference of tour dates unless quotas are full on the respective dates.
At present, 756 participants can join the Helicopter Ride Experience and Yacht Check-in Tour within the quotas. Each applicant who is numbered by the lots will be eligible for two quotas for joining the above tour. Applicants who are listed by the lots but unable to join the tour within the quotas will be put on the waiting list to queue for remaining quotas. Likewise, listed applicants on the waiting list will take up the quotas in order if new quotas are later added under feasible conditions during the first stage of the “Stay, Dine and See Macao” project from April to June. If applicants listed by the lots give up joining the tour, they will not be included in the waiting list again. The travel agencies concerned will notify applicants of the lots’ results, confirm their dates of participation and arrange for payments in respective order.
With the debut of local hotel experience in the “Stay, Dine and See Macao” project, some hotel packages are tailored to include the Helicopter Ride Experience of which the quotas are under the hotels’ own arrangements with the helicopter service provider. These quotas are not included in the pool of quotas to be assigned by the electronic lots for the public. Residents can enquire accredited travel agencies for further details about the hotel packages.
