The Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, will lead a Government delegation to visit Guangzhou and Zhuhai on Monday and Tuesday (23 to 24 December), in order to exchange views on how to strengthen cooperation between Guangdong-Macao and discuss topics that concern by both areas.
Mrr Ho will meet in Guangzhou with leading officials of the province on Monday afternoon and will meet in Zhuhai with its leading officials on the next day. The delegation will also inspect several projects that related to Macao before the end of the trip.
Members of the Government delegation will include: the Secretary for Administration and Justice, Mr Cheong Weng Chon; the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Lei Wai Nong; the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Ms Ao Ieong U; the Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Mr Raimundo Rosario; the Commissioner General of the Unitary Police Service, Mr Leong Man Cheong; the Director-General of the Macao Customs Service, Mr Vong Man Chong; the Chief-of-Office of the Chief Executive’s Office, Ms Hoi Lai Fong; the Director of the Government Information Bureau, Mr Chan Chi Ping; and the Director of the Protocol, Public Relations and External Affairs Office, Ms Lei Ut Mui.
While the Chief Executive is away, the Secretary for Security, Mr Wong Sio Chak, will take the role of Acting Chief Executive.
