There have recently been various news reports concerning TDM (Teledifusão de Macau, S.A), the public broadcaster of the Macao SAR. Operating in accordance with its own charter, its management has the ability to address and resolve any internal matters concerning its own administrative affairs.

The Government emphasises that all news organisations in Macao have the freedom to set their own editorial guidelines. The Government continues to respect and uphold the principle of the freedom of the press as stipulated in the Basic Law, as always.
