Consumer Council’s online platform, “Consumer Online”, offers convenient, easy-to-use and efficient service to consumers for lodging complaint, submitting feedback or checking case status.
4-in-1 e-service platform
The “Consumer Online” one-step platform consolidates the four main services of the Council, “Complain”, “Feedback”, “Enquiry”, and “Consumer Council Activities”. Consumers may scan the QR Code of the platform or get access via the website link (https://app.consumer.gov.mo/wapp) to use all the functions. The Council has made an animated tutorial video earlier for consumers to know more about the advantages of using the platform, and detailed guidance on using the various functions is available in the video.
“Consumer Online” offers convenient, easy-to-use and efficient service to consumers, consumers may choose the desired function and look for different kinds of information on consumer protection. Usage of the platform keeps increasing and users mainly make use of the “Complaint” section and the case status enquiry service.
Lodging complaints more quickly
Consumer complaints may be lodged on the “Consumer Online” platform on mobile devices, using the default options with the submission of text or pictures, the Council will then follow up on the case as soon as possible complainants may also check case status on the platform.
Personal data are securely processed on the platform so that the complainant must enter the complaint case number and the registered mobile phone number to check the status of the case.
Diversified service
“Feedback” section is available on “Consumer Online” to welcome all kinds of feedback from consumers, any matter related to consumption may also be raised in the “Enquiry” section and the Council will respond to them promptly. Other information including research and reports conducted by the Council as well as consumer alerts are also available on the platform.
