The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will expand the non-smoking area in the Praça de Luís de Camões starting from October 7. Residents should pay attention to and comply with the measure.

The Praça de Luís de Camões is an ideal place for residents to relax as it offers seats shaded by green trees and a small waterfall fountain on one side, creating a tranquil and cosy environment. It is also the main area leading to the Luís de Camões Park which draws many parents and children since the reopening of the children’s play area. To improve the physical conditions of residents and after listening to public opinions and reviewing the actual situation, IAM decides to expand the non-smoking area from the environs of the fountain to most area in the Praça de Luís de Camões starting from  October 7. The non-smoking area will be clearly marked with coloured lines on site.
