The Chief Executive, Mr Chui Sai On, will attend the opening of the first session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) on 5 March in Beijing.

During his visit to the capital, from 4 to 7 March, Mr Chui will also meet with officials of the National Development and Reform Commission; the Ministry of Commerce; and the China Food and Drug Administration.

Officials travelling with Mr Chui on the visit will include: the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Leong Vai Tac; the Director of the Government Information Bureau, Mr Chan Chi Ping; the Director of the Protocol, Public Relations and External Affairs Office, Ms Lei Ut Mui; the Chairman of the Macao Investment and Development Limited, Ms Lu Hong; and Chief Advisor to the Policy Research Office, Mr Mi Jian.

During Mr Chui’s absence, the Secretary for Administration and Justice, Ms Chan Hoi Fan, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
