No Macau Residents involved in the Malaysia Airlines aircraft crash

Yesterday (July 17) Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed near the Ukraine-Russia border, carrying 295 passengers on-board.

From information collected through the airline, Macau tourism industry and the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC in the Macau SAR, until the present moment, there is no evidence of Macau residents being involved.

The Tourism Crisis Management Office (GGCT) will keep on monitoring the situation. No requests for assistance or information were received so far by GGCT.
