In response to the most recent situation of the novel coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the United States of America and Europe, Hong Kong and Macao authorities have imposed medical observation and quarantine measures for those who were in the United States of America or Europe in the 14 days prior to their entry. The Higher Education Bureau (DSES) and the Tourism Crisis Management Office (GGCT) urges Macao residents currently studying in the United States of America or Europe, as well as those currently travelling in those destinations and planning to return to Macao via Hong Kong International Airport to register as soon as possible for entry facilitation and medical observation in Macao.

In order to guarantee the normal operations of the Tourism Hotline for the purpose of receiving emergency requests, the registration of information for Macau Residents returning to Macau via Hong Kong International Airport through the Tourism Hotline will be suspended starting today (March 16).

Macao residents currently in the United States of America or Europe who already have valid return flight tickets via Hong Kong International Airport and are scheduled to arrive on or before March 22, 2020 should register through the website https://aeees.dses.gov.mo/HKMAC/

Those who would like to register should complete their registration 12 hours before arrival in Hong Kong. In case of any adjustment relating to their itinerary, they should contact the Higher Education Bureau (DSES) between 09:00 until 21:00 by telephone no. (853) 8396-9233 or send an email to hkmac@dses.gov.mo
