GGCT concerns earthquake in Japan's Kansai region

The Tourism Crisis Management Office (GGCT) is paying close attention to the strong earthquake that occurred this morning (13 April) in the Kansai region, Japan and will maintain close contact with the tourism industry for developments.

According to the information provided by the tourism industry, a group of 23 people are currently travelling in the Kansai region in Japan and their personal safety has not been affected.

So far GGCT has not received any calls for assistance or information. Macao residents may call the 24-hour Tourism Hotline at (853) 2833 3000 for assistance if necessary.
