The Government welcomed the move by Macao’s six gaming operators to form a trade association, the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Francis Tam Pak Yuen, said today.

Mr Tam said the association would help strengthen communication between the operators and between the sector, the Government and the community.

He said he believed the association would benefit the development of the industry and the entire economy.
