Four Macao resident on board the same plane on which a Taiwanese man reportedly been isolated after upon arrival at Taipei from Macao were still in Taiwan.

The Health Bureau made the announcement this evening (7 May) in respond to a media report that a Taiwanese man on board the Eva Air BR 806 flight from Macao to Taipei was found running a fever upon arrival at Taipei and was isolated for observation.

The Man had reportedly entered Macao from the mainland through the Lotus Bridge Checkpoint and then left for Taipei through the Macao International Airport.

After confirming with the airline, the Health Bureau found out that there were four Macao residents on board the same plane but there were no record of the four reentering Macao after departure so it is supposed that they were still in Taiwan.

The Bureau said in a press release that the four would be contacted once they arrived at Macao and would be directed to the consultation post at the checkpoints for further assessment.
