Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test on sputum and excrement samples of a 38-year-old saleswoman resulted negative of corona virus, the Macao SAR Health Bureau announced today (22 April).

Samples had been sent for testing in Hong Kong immediately after she was hospitalized on 20 April for symptoms of pneumonia.

The Bureau said in a press release that her temperature had come down, adding that she was still hospitalized in an isolation ward at Conde de Janauraio Hospital for further observation.

The Bureau noted that she was in fair condition.
