Chief Executive Edmund Ho is scheduled to lead an official delegation to visit the Guangdong province on Wednesday (21 August).
The delegates will meet the Governor of Guangdong, Lu Ruihua, and the officials to discuss further cooperation on trade, transportation, tourism and cultural. The two leaders will hold a joint press conference after the meeting.
The delegation is also scheduled to visit various places in Guangzhou, Kaiping and Jiangmen and to attend the receptions held by the Guangdong officials.
Members of the official delegations include the Secretary for Economy and Finance, the Chief-of-Cabinet of the Office of Chief Executive, the Permanent representant & Co-ordinator of Macao-China Economic and Trade Delegation in Portugal, the President of the Committee of Representative Office of the MSAR Government in Beijing, the Consultant of the Office of Chief Executive, the Consultant of the Office of Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, the Consultant of the office of Secretary for Transport and Public Works, the Vice-director of Macao Government Tourism Office, the Vice-director of Government Information Bureau, the Vice-director of Lands, Public Works and Transport Bureau and the vice-director of Cultural Institute.
