Chief Executive appointed the members of Macau Foundation. The appointments were published on Macau SAR Gazette today.

Victor Ng, one of the 23 law makers of the SAR, was appointed president of the foundation, effective from 11 July, leading the 5-member administrative commettee composed of permanent members Lei Song Fan and Wu Zhiliang, and members Lam Kam Seng and Ho Kuai Leng.

Beside the administrative committee, the new Macau Foundation also comprises a trust committee and a supervisory committee.

16-members of the Trust Committee are: Stanley Ho,Ng Fok, Ung Si Meng, Lei Pui Lam, Anabela Fá/;tima Xavier Sales Ritchie, Ma Iao Hang, Carlos Alberto dos Santos Marreiros, Stanley Au Chong Kit/; Chui Sai Peng/; Susana Chou/; Lok Cheong, Pang Vai Kam, Joaquim Jorge Perestrelo Neto Valente, Ho Teng Iat, Eric Yeung Tsun Man and Liu Chak Wan.

Chui Sai Cheong was appointed president of the supervisory committee, with members Ho Mei Wa and Vong Hin Fai.

According to the organic statue of the foundation, the administrative committee may decide on sponsorship less than five hundred thousands patacas, while any sponsorship exceeds the limit will have to be approved by the trust Committee.

The new Macau Foundation, which is under the supervision of Chief Executive, is established to replace the former Macau Foundation and Foundation for Cooperation and Development of Macau, in the scope of facilitating development of culture, economy and science and promoting Macau.
