The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the GGCT provided support for the return of Macao resident stranded in the Commonwealth of Dominica

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassies of the People's Republic of China in Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, and Barbados supported the evacuation and safe relocation of more than 400 Chinese citizens who were affected in the aftermath of the hurricane. Among those affected was a Macao resident who was safely taken to Antigua and Barbuda. The GGCT was contacted by the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in Macao on the 26th of September, and provided support by facilitating the return of the Macao resident. The resident left on the 28th, having returned to Macao this morning (30th of September).
