The Chief Executive, Mr Chui Sai On, is scheduled to attend the opening of the Fourth Session of the Twelfth National People's Congress (NPC) on 5 March in Beijing.

During his visit to the capital from 3-6 March, Mr Chui will meet with leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the General Administration of Customs. The Chief Executive will also meet with leaders of the Guangdong Government to discuss further cooperation opportunities between Guangdong and Macao.

The Chief-of-Office of the Chief Executive’s Office, Ms O Lam; the Director of the Government Information Bureau, Mr Chan Chi Ping; the Director of the Protocol, Public Relations and External Affairs Office, Mr Fung Sio Weng will take part in this visit.

During Mr Chui’s absence, the Secretary for Administration and Justice, Ms Chan Hoi Fan, will be Acting Chief Executive.
