Egypt granted visa-free treatment to Macau SAR passport holders

Egypt has granted visa-free treatment to Macau SAR passport holders starting from 13 November this year, it was announced by the government Identification Bureau.

Macau SAR passport holders can stay in Egypt for up to 30 days each time for traveling, business and transit purposes.

In return, the Macau SAR government gave visa-free treatment to Egyptian passport holders and they can stay in Macau for up to 30 days.

The visa-free entry agreement will be beneficial to further strengthen the trade, culture, and tourism relations between Egypt and the Macau SAR.

Following Singapore, South Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Turkey, South Africa and Samoa, Egypt is the eighth country to give visa-free access to Macau SAR passport holders since the founding of the SAR last December.

So far, a total of 58 countries have recognized the passport of the Macau SAR.
