Choi Lai Hang, chief-designated of Customs and Excise, stated that the proposal of organizing the Customs would be submitted to the Chief Executive by the end of November.
Choi point out that, the proposal was basically drafted and would be submitted to the Chief Executive through the Secretary for Security. Regarding to the establishment of the Customs, he indicated that the discussion with the related government departments is proceeding smoothly.
Choi visited the Security Forces of Macau on 31st October and had exchanged the idea of transference in manpower and resources with the acting director Chan Peng Sam.
Choi said that they would spend over 80 million to construct the building of Customs and Excise, which would be set up before the establishment of the Customs.
