Chief Public Prosecutor Ho Chiu Meng is to head a delegation to Portugal at the invitation of the Attorney General of Portugal, José/; Adriano Machado Souto de Moura, to enhance exchanges between the judiciaries of the two places.

This is the first official visit of the Macao Procurator to Portugal after the establishment of the SAR.

The five-member delegation will meet with the Attorney General of Portugal to discuss enhancing cooperation between the two judiciaries.

The delegation will also meet with the President of the Supreme Court of Portugal, Jorge Alberto Aragã/;o Seia, the Minister of Justice, Celeste Cardona, and other important representatives in the field of law and justice.

The visit is also expected to enhance the Portuguese Judiciary's understanding of the independence of the Judiciary in Macao, as well as of the successful implementation of the principles "One Country Two Systems" and "Macao People Ruling Macao."
