  • The 15th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair (CCCIF) is held from 31 October to 3 November 2024. The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) of the Macao SAR Government has organised the participation of Macao’s cultural and creative entities in the CCCIF, in which it has set up the “Macao Creative Pavilion”, aiming to promote Macao’s brands and cultural and artistic products, showcasing the cultural connotation and creative achievements of Macao, and deepening regional exchanges between Fujian Province and Macao. The 15th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair (CCCIF) is held from 31 October to 3 November 2024. The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) of the Macao SAR Government has organised the participation of Macao’s cultural and creative entities in the CCCIF, in which it has set up the “Macao Creative Pavilion”, aiming to promote Macao’s brands and cultural and artistic products, showcasing the cultural connotation and creative achievements of Macao, and deepening regional exchanges between Fujian Province and Macao.

Organised by the Taiwan Work Office of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China, the National Radio and Television Administration, and the People’s Government of Fujian Province, this year’s CCCIF is held at the Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Centre from 31 October to 3 November. The IC has set up the “Macao Creative Pavilion” with an area of approximately 190m2, gathering a number of original Macao’s IPs and design brands with cultural and creative products in various styles, ranging from souvenirs, daily commodities, clothing and accessories to art toys. During the event, a promotional session on Macao’s cultural and creative brands is held to raise the visibility of these brands. The Pavilion also features the exhibition “Visiting the Ruins of St. Paul’s in Space and Time” - Exhibition of Virtual Reality at the Ruins of St. Paul’s, so as to enhance Macao’s cultural dissemination through technology, drawing many residents from Mainland China to experience.

The opening ceremony of the “Macao Creative Pavilion” was held today (31 October) and was officiated by the Head of Department for Promoting Cultural and Creative Industries of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Ho Hong Pan; the responsible person of the Division of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Fujian Province, Li Peichuan; the Head of Division of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs of the Xiamen Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism, Peng Jun; and other guests. The Head of Department for Promoting Cultural and Creative Industries of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Ho Hong Pan, addressed in his speech that the establishment of the “Macao Creative Pavilion” aims to present Macao’s cultural image as a city of creativity and diversity. By capitalising on the influence of the CCCIP, the IC seeks to promote Macao brands to Mainland China and create development opportunities for the cultural and creative industries.

The participating cultural and creative exhibitors from Macao in this year’s CCCIF include: Association of 230 Art and Creation, Tick. Design Ltd., Leno Culture Limited, Pak Moon Media and Culture Limited, Lumos Viva Limited, Miko Jorge Limited, Reject Smile Cultural And Creative Co., Ltd., Teababy, Soda Panda Product Design, Sunnymeow Studio, Mung Animation Company Limited, Case Station Advertising & Planning Co. Ltd., Macau Creations Limited and Binshu Culture and Art Company Ltd.
