The Macao Cultural Centre, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, is launching ARTwarming Winter’s newest edition. Once more, the programme will bring entertaining gifts for the whole family, from the good mood staged by Little Devil, a theatrical play for two-year old kids and above, to a colourful array of performances and activities for all ages displayed at Arty Christmas, including an inspiring concert by CCM’s singing Club.

Singing Club in Concert-----------------------------------------------------------19.12.2021

CCM’s young voices will be looking back at yet another challenging year inviting family and friends to Singing Club’s Annual concert. Inspired by a string of flower themed songs from all over the world, this closing show recaps a season lived through delicate times, immersing the audience in a stream of meaningful tunes performed in a variety of styles. A bouquet of songs covering film soundtracks and folk traditions from places as diverse as China, Korea or the Czech Republic. Amongst various surprises, the concert will feature a guest artist that will be joining in for a percussion jam session. Besides the eclectic song selection, the show will be illustrated by plenty of movement and dramatized moments devised to better convey all the memorable times our golden voices have lived throughout a year of musical exploration.

Arty Christmas-----------------------------------------------------------------------19.12.2021

The lively Arty Christmas will be back this year to offer families and kids fun-filled moments created by a potpourri of local artists. TDSM’s little dancers will kick off the carnival with a cool street dance show. The audience may also join the magical shadow puppetry Na Rua, and mingle with very tall and fancy dressed stilters. There will be an art installation at the Cultural Centre’s foyer, where the kids will be welcome to find a spot to take their best selfies. While wandering around, the audience may also enjoy the notes of a mini concert and those who prefer quieter moments may join reading sessions of some Christmas tales and backstage tours. There will be also an arts and crafts corner for Christmas ornaments amongst other activities.

Little Devil------------------------------------------------------------------------24-26.12.2021

Plunging the audience into the jolly world of two young twins, Little Devil is a lively show originally created by the Shanghainese children’s theatre Little Player. Illustrating the struggles many parents face with their kids at bedtime, this cheerful piece without words revolves around a naughty girl and her (initially) quiet brother. Playing happily around, the siblings will illuminate the white setting with a string of colourful, creative games.

Tickets for Little Devil will be available from 14 November (Sunday) at CCM’s box office and Macao Ticketing Network outlets available at various discounts. For details please visit CCM’s website at www.ccm.gov.mo or call (853) 2840 0555.

The Centre will keep following anti-epidemic guidelines issued by the health authorities with appropriate measures, requesting patrons to wear face masks, undergo body temperature checks and present a valid Health Code.
