This year, Culinary Arts Management students from Macao Institute for Tourism Studies engaged in a project to aid mbox co. Limited and Robi3 Macau co. Limited who specialise in smart vending machine. This project helps their latest line of fully automated smart bubble tea vending machine that aims to penetrate in the growing fruit tea and bubble tea market.

With the guidance of IFTM Assistant Professor Dr Fernando Lourenço, students conducted market analysis and industry analysis, proposed innovative business models and wrote business plans to contribute to their research and development. Education style at IFTM is both theoretical and practical, connecting classroom learning to real-world learning. What students learn in classroom can always find a way to serve our local community of small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs. This is a good way to give students real world experience and support our community.
