The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) launches its Online Book Shop in order to facilitate the selection and the purchase of the IC's publications with ease by readers from Macao and abroad via the Internet, thus promotes reading among the public.

Since its establishment, IC has published nearly a thousand publications in Chinese, Portuguese, English and other languages, out of which, a total of 260 publications published over the past 8 years will be available for online purchase in the first phase. To facilitate the purchase process, the book shop adopts the Express Mail Service (EMS) of the Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau to mail publications to overseas readers; while readers in Macao can choose among 14 public libraries under IC (Macao Peninsula, Taipa and Coloane) to self pick up their orders. For more details, please visit the Cultural Affairs Bureau Online Book Shop’s website ( www.icm.gov.mo/bookshop ) or email to bookshop@icm.gov.mo.

In addition to online purchase, readers can buy the IC’s publications in person at nearly 20 locations in Macao. For more information, please visit the  IC’s Division of Research and Publications website at www.icm.gov.mo/academics.
