Arrangements on Immigration Services from 3 to 7 February

According to Executive Order No. 11/CE/2020, in view of the development of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus and to reduce the risk of the spread of the virus, public administration staff will be exempted from work from 3 to 7 February, but public departments will maintain basic services. Hence, the services counters of the Public Security Police Force at the Immigration Building at Pac On, Taipa, the Macao Government Services Centre at Areia Preta and the Macao Government Services Centre in Islands will provide limited services during normal office hours from 3 to 7 February. The services include:

1.     Application for and collection of “Certificate of Personal Movement Record”;

2.     *Processing of cases of loss of entry identification documents for non-residents;

3.     *Extension of “Authorization to Stay”;

4.     *“Special Authorization to Stay” for applicants of Residence Authorization;

5.     Issue of “Residence Certificate” for One-way Exit Permit holders;

6.     Renewal of and *application for skilled and domestic “Worker’s Authorization to Stay”;

7.     Cancellation of “Worker’s Authorization to Stay”.

Subject to manpower arrangements, services other than the above-mentioned will be suspended currently until public departments resume normal office hours. Appointments for non-resident worker-related services scheduled from 3 to 7 February at the Immigration Building at Pac On will remain as scheduled; for appointments of other categories, the Public Security Police Force will proactively contact the people concerned to reschedule the appointments, and applications in relation to residence or non-resident worker matters, etc. which are delayed due to the measure will not be considered as late applications. For the time being, the implementation of performance pledges is suspended and services will be provided by appointment only at the counters at the two government services centres, while the immigration enquiry hotline (28725488) and the Investigation and Repatriation Subdivision of the Border Control Department will maintain normal services. People are urged not to come to the buildings to go through the formalities immediately unless in case of emergency.
