According to the statistics and industry classification of approved applications in the first half of 2019, the industries involved mainly include: financial services (50%) and education (33%).

In addition, according to the statistics of temporary residency for approved investors, managements and technical personnel in the first half of 2019, IPIM received a total of 1 new residence applications based on “major investment” and a total of 61 new applications based on “management and technical personnel”.

Among the cases handled in the first half of 2019 (include the applications which were received in previous years), there was no application approved under the category of “major investment” while 3 were disapproved/cancelled; 6 applications under the category of “management and technical personnel” were approved and 1 was disapproved/cancelled.
