Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), the 37th Macao Young Musicians Competition, dedicated to the category of piano, will start on 19 July (Friday). The provisional Competition Schedule and the model of piano used for the Competition were published in the Macao Young Musicians Competition’s website (www.icm.gov.mo/cjmm).

Applications for the Competition ended on 10 March, and nearly 700 applications were received. The “Competition” will be held from 19 to 31 July, while the “Special Prizes Competition” will be held on 4 August (Sunday), at the Institute for Tourism Studies (main campus). The order of performance was determined through random electronic ballot; all participants must register at the competition venue at the designated time by presenting the original copy of their valid Macao Resident ID Cards and perform according to the allocated order. The warm-up room schedule will be determined by the organizer on-site according to the order of the performance. In case of exceptional circumstances which require the order of performance to be changed, participants are required to fill in the “Request for Change of Competition Order” together with the supporting documents and submit it on or before 24 May (during office hours), at the Cultural Affairs Bureau Building. The final version of the Competition Schedule will be available on 31 May (Friday) in the Macao Young Musicians Competition’s website.

For enquiries, please contact IC through tel. no. 8399 6946 or 8399 6637, during office hours.
