Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), the “Nam Van Lake Craft Market” is held on Saturdays and Sundays, from 1 January to 31 December 2017, from 2pm to 9pm, at the Anim’Arte NAM VAN, featuring a rich variety of handicraft workshops. Online registration for the weekend handicraft workshops to be held in December is available through the Activity Registration System on IC’s website from today. The fee for each handicraft workshop is MOP50. Online registration is available until Friday, 24 November, at 5pm.
The “Nam Van Lake Craft Market” will hold a variety of themed workshops available for individuals and families, including: “Japanese-style retro embroidered wallets”, “Workshop on canvas tote bags with creative hand drawings”, “Workshop on Christmas preserved flower wreath”, “Japanese-style flower-adorned mirrors”, “Dried flower bouquet”, “Let’s make embroidery!—Handmade kiss lock purse”, “Workshop on Christmas crystal balls with preserved flowers”, “Romantic moon lamp”, “Simple leather cardholder” and “Simple hand-sewn traveller’s notebook”.

Successful applicants will be selected by drawing lots and will be notified by SMS on Monday, 27 November. Successful applicants should pay the registration fees at the Handicraft Workshop venue at the Anim’Arte NAM VAN, located at the Nam Van Lake Square, Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Nam Van, 30 minutes before the workshop starts. Registered applicants who arrive 10 minutes after the workshop start will be disqualified and will be replaced by the applicants in the waiting list. On-site registration and payment to all workshops starts 15 minutes before the workshop starts, subject to availability.
