To celebrate the commencement of the new academic year the “Macao Polytechnic Institute Opening Ceremony for Academic Year 2017-2018” will be held in the MPI Pavilion on 18th August, 2017 (Friday) at 3:00 p.m.
Macao Polytechnic Institute will welcome new students, teaching and administrative staff whilst at the same time introduce to parents and the wider community the Institute’s latest developments and future plans. The MPI Board of Management together with the Heads of Academic and Administrative units will meet the new students in order to help strengthen students’ connections with the Institute.
During the ceremony scholarships will be awarded to excellent MPI students and graduates for their outstanding academic achievements over the course of the previous academic year. In addition, to welcome new students to the MPI family, the Schools will organise their own Orientation Sessions, and the Student Affairs Office will organise a series of “Orientation Activities”, including Campus Orientation, Campus Hunt, Sharing Session by Outstanding MPI Students, “Gapless Once More” Volunteer Scheme, Career Planning-“Entrepreneur Sharing and Exploratory Visit”, “Macao Running Man” Character Building Camp and “New Heart New Life” Experience Journey after the Opening Ceremony.
