The Forum on Chain and Franchise Business Opportunities of International Brands (the “Forum”), one of the key activities of the Macao Franchise Expo 2017, will take place at 4:30 p.m on July 28, at the Naples Room of the Venetian Macau. Li Ning, known as the “Prince of Gymnastics”, founder and chairman of the board of directors of Li Ning’s Brand, and also Macao´s “Conference Ambassador”, will be the keynote speaker. He will share on how his business is using Big Data to enhance performance. Also, for the first time, the Forum will be webcasted live, to make the event accessible for more people.

Under the theme “Big Data – the Key Success Factor for Franchisees”, the Forum has invited senior executives of and IT experts in chain retails and catering from Mainland China, Brazil, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macao to share on how to use Big Data to expand business and to make good use of Big Data to achieve a win-win situation with the franchisees.

Large-scale branded chains and experts talk on how to use Big Data to promote franchise business

The Forum has invited Albert Kong, Committee Member of Franchising and Licensing Association (Singapore) and Chief Executive Officer of Asiawide Franchise Consultants Pte. Ltd. as moderator. Kong, together with Kyo Ho, Chairman of Franchise Committee in Japan Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultants Association – Tokyo Branch, Guilherme Alf, Public Relations and Publicity Managing Director of China Brasil Soccer, Diogo Chan, Macao´s entrepreneur and founder of ladies´ fashion brand Azona, and Frankie Ho, sole agent of Baidu International in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan, will talk freely on how to use Big Data to promote chain franchise business, how franchisers could use Big Data to implement target marketing strategy, to enhance performance, and adopt effective customer relationship management, to achieve a win-win situation.

Li Ning to share his insight on the application of Big Data

Li Ning, the “Prince of Gymnastics”, who has now become a successful businessman, will be the keynote speaker. Li was one of the most outstanding athletes in the 20th Century. In 1984, he won three gold medals, two silver medals and a bronze medal to become the most honoured athlete at the 23rd Olympic Games. After retiring from sports in1989, he founded Li Ning’s Brand, selling own-branded sporting products. From establishing a nationwide franchise system in the beginning, sponsoring Chinese sports delegations in participation in competitions at home and abroad for years, to being listed in Hong Kong. In recent years, Li Ning’s Brand has actively used Big Data for analytic purpose to assist business promotion and has successfully being listed as “2016 Top 100 China Online Retail Sale”. Li will share with the franchise operators and entrepreneurs his story and experience on how to use Big Data to develop business, and to jointly explore future opportunities brought about by chain store operations and franchising.
