Chief Executive, Mr Chui Sai On, will lead a delegation to Beijing from 2 to 4 September for the commemorative events marking the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people’s war of resistance against Japanese aggression.

Mr Chui will attend the official commemorative ceremony held at the Tiananmen Square on 3 September, and attend a reception at the Great Hall of the People in the afternoon and a variety show in the evening.

The 100-member delegation includes principal officials and representatives from all walks of life.

While Mr Chui is away, the Secretary for Security, Mr Wong Sio Chak, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
