The Government will begin to send out cheques for the Wealth Partaking Scheme 2015 in July, giving eligible local permanent residents MOP 9,000 each and MOP 5,400 each for non-permanent residents.
Spokesperson of the Executive Council said at press conference today that the means of distribution would be the same as last year.
Beneficiaries such as civil servants, college students and retired persons who receive subsidies from the Government will have the money deposited in their bank accounts. Others would be notified by mail in the following 10 weeks.
The Scheme, under which the Government shares the fruits of economic development with the people, is in its eighth year. The support centre for this year’s scheme will be open until September.
