The annual Government Headquarters Open Day will be held on 25 and 26 October (Saturday and Sunday), during which the Protocol Palace and part of the garden will also be open.

During these two days, local residents and visitors can take the opportunity to visit the Multi-purpose Room, the Lotus Room, the Grand Hall on the upper floor, the Green Hall, the Yellow Hall, the Blue Hall of the Protocol Palace, and the garden.

A photographic exhibition titled “Marks of the Past - Photo Exhibition of Monumental Arches for National Day Celebration in Macao between the 1950s to 1970s” will be held in the Multi-purpose Room. There will be guided tours of the Grand Hall, to introduce to the public the furniture on the upper floor of the Protocol Building.

Another Open Day highlight for visitors will be a flower show. With the theme “Fairytale Forest”, the show delivers Macao’s wish for a bright and glorious future with boundless joy and liveliness.

In addition to the gorgeous architecture and decorations of the Government Headquarters, there will be live performances by the Macao Police Band, and musical instruments, choir and dance performances by students from the School of Music and the School of Dance of the Macao Conservatory of the Cultural Affairs Bureau.

In order to enrich contents, the Government Headquarters website has been redeveloped with the introduction of more pictures and illustrations of the facilities.
