Macao Ideas - the Macao branded products display centre of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), currently located on the ground-floor of the Tourism Activities Centre (“CAT”), will move to the Macao Business Support Centre on the 19 floor of China Civil Plaza, 263, Alameda Dr. Carlos d'Assumpcao, Macao. The exhibits will be displayed in the new venue from 1 October.

Macao Ideas - has been promoting Products Made in Macao, Macao Brands, Macao Design and Sole distributorship of Portuguese Speaking Countries products since 9 May 2011. The numbers of exhibitors has increased from 80 to the current 110 and 600 exhibits to more than 1,000 since its opening. The product categories include garments, wedding gowns and evening dresses, jewellery, food, wine, medical products, furniture, industrial supplies, IT products, cultural and creative design products and handicrafts.

With the rapid development of SMEs information technology and e-commerce, Macao Ideas will also follow the trend and computerise its service, as well as promote the centre and its exhibits through varies digital media to build up brand awareness and explore more business opportunities for its exhibitors. Such as the Macao Ideas Wechat account has been set up recently (Id number: gh_00ca43f93002) to allow for the most up-to-date on and offers on Macao’s different branded products, interesting business stories to be released regularly and swiftly. Besides getting more information on the centre, follow Macao Ideas on Wechat now can receive a free gift. Other digital media promotions including EDM for procurement agents, banner advertisement placement on the international sourcing website and electronic magazine to introduce the individual exhibitors of the centre will be updated on a regular basis.

Moreover, IPIM takes products currently on display in “Macao Ideas” to different Mainland, local and overseas exhibitions with an aim of promoting Macao Ideas and its exhibitors and exploring more opportunities for exhibitors in overseas markets.
