The Commissioner-General of the Unitary Police Service, Mr José Proença Branco, urged registered voters to cast their vote and exercise their civil rights.

Speaking to the press after casting his vote, Mr Branco said that the police forces would fully co-operate with the election and ensure the public security of the territory.
