Macao welcomes people from all over the world, the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Francis Tam Pak Yuen, said today.

Mr Tam said this at a press conference after a tripartite meeting in Hong Kong on co-operation with Hong Kong and Guangdong.

He said that Macao’s immigration authority performed its duties in accordance with the Internal Security Law.

Mr Tam said that Macao welcomed people and friends from all over the world to visit the city for traveling, visiting friends, working and seeking business opportunities, etc.

Macao’s immigration authority would perform its duties, as their counterparts in other regions, Mr Tam said.
