The three astronauts who completed China’s first spacewalk mission are scheduled to visit Macao next week, at the invitation of the Macao Government.

The delegation, to be led by the Deputy Chief Commander of the Shenzhou VII Mission, Mr Zhang Jianqi, will be here next Monday (8 December) after a four-day visit to Hong Kong.

In Macao, Zhai Zhigang, the first Chinese astronaut who conducted a spacewalk, and fellow astronauts Liu Boming and Jing Haipeng, will attend a sharing session on Tuesday and tell Macao’s students of their adventures in space.

They will also attend a welcoming performance on that evening and meet the press before leaving Macao on Wednesday.
