Government to review projects involved in court case

The Government would study the verdict passed by the Court of Final Appeal on the Ao Man Long case and examine closely the projects mentioned in the former minister's corruption trial.

The Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Mr Lau Si Io, disclosed this today when he was asked by reporters for comments on the projects involved in the case.

Mr Lau said the Government would study the verdict and examine all the projects very closely. Moreover, public interests and legitimacy would be the utmost concern for the Government when it makes any decisions on these projects in the future, he said.
