Chief Executive Edmond Ho met with WHO expert Cathryn Murphy this afternoon (May 5), exchanging ideas on how to prevent atypical pneumonia.

He stressed that the government would improve the preventive measures according to the instructions and advice of WHO.

Edmond Ho said that Macao SAR Government would refer to the experience of neighbouring regioins in preventing atypical pneumonia. “The government will carry out comprehensive and effective deployment, “ he said.

He said the visit of WHO expert had boosted the confidence of Macao SAR Government in preventing atypical pneumonia.
