WHO expert Dr. Cathryn Murphy today (2 May) begins her 5-day-visit to assess the preventive measures taken by the Macao authorities against SARS and to give advises on the issue.
According to a press release from the Health Bureau, Dr. Cathryn Murphy would visit facilities in the two hospitals including isolation care units, emergency room, and intensive care units.
She would also visit the buildings designated to be used for isolation hospital and isolation camps when necessary.
Dr. Cathryn Murphy’s visit would also included the public laboratory and health centers, in order to give advises on the SARS preventive measures taken there, the bureau said.
