The Zhuahi authority had officially informed the Health Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region today (23 April) on the recognition of the first SARS case in Zhuhai, announced the bureau.

As many people are traveling back and forth the two neighboring regions, the Health Bureau will step up the SARS preventive measures from tomorrow (24 April) by posting more staffs to take body temperature of arrivals at the Bordergate checkpoint and thus to prevent the virus from spreading to Macao.
