Cabin Crews Asked to Stay at Home after Attending Suspected SARS Patient

The Health Bureau reiterated today (7 April) in a press release that preventive measures would be maintained although no case of SARS was found in Macao up to now.

Concerning the Air Macao airplane which had been reported to have taken a passenger suspected to have contracted atypical pneumonia, the Health Bureau had asked ten cabin crews to stay at home for ten days and to limit their contact with others during the period, according to the press release.

The press release also confirmed that no suspected SARS case had been found at medical consultation counter at the three checkpoints since their started operations on 3 April.
