  • To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Historic Centre of Macao's inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the Cultural Affairs Bureau is holding more than 50 engaging activities between July and December, including summer programmes tailored for young people.

  • The “World Heritage Exploration Study Tour” is designed for children aged 9 to 12, and focuses on experiential learning, guiding participants through iconic heritage sites such as the Ruins of St. Paul’s.

  • Through interactive methods such as art creation and task-based challenges, the study tour immerses children in the history, culture, and architectural features of Macao’s World Heritage sites.

  • The “Practical Rammed Earth Wall Restoration Workshop” enables participants to experience the unique characteristics, materials, and restoration methods relating to Macao’s traditional rammed-earth walls.

  • Participants in the “Practical Rammed Earth Wall Restoration Workshop” get to mix and test repair materials, to experience heritage conservation firsthand.
