The 15th National Games, the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities, and the 9th National Special Olympic Games are being jointly hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. The events will be staged in November and December.

Community activities have recently been held across 14 neighbourhoods in Macao, to foster the community’s connection to the National Games.

Community activities at multiple leisure areas, squares, parks and cycling tracks feature a variety of elements including booth games, and sports demonstrations. There are also National Games information boards, the chance to meet National Games mascots, and photo-opportunity installations.

Members of the public taking part in the booth games have the chance to win souvenirs linked to the Macao Competition Zone of the 15th National Games and the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities, and the 9th National Special Olympic Games.

Four categories are for the 15th National Games, namely in: table tennis; 3x3 basketball; 5x5 basketball (Men's under 18) and volleyball (adult women). The city will additionally host badminton competition events for the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities, and for the 9th National Special Olympic Games. Macao will also host a mass-participation event for karate within the 15th National Games.
