The 1st Macao International Children's Arts Festival (MICAF) presents the grand finale programme, the “MICAF Fun Day – Arts Carnival” on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, for two consecutive weekends at the end of August. The Macao Cultural Centre Plaza becomes a place for children to enjoy their summer holidays in new ways.

Activities at the Arts Carnival take place from the afternoon until the evening, featuring stage performances and ground-level acts such as street dance, stilt walking, clown performance, magic acts, and acrobatics.

The Arts Carnival includes food stalls, and creative products stalls, as well as workshops, and a gaming zone. Parents and children can get creative together and enjoy moments of artistic inspiration.

The MICAF mascot and also Macao’s tourism mascot "Mak Mak" can be seen at Macao Cultural Centre Plaza throughout the Arts Carnival, offering many opportunities for photographs.
