A patriotic education base for young people has been set up by the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region. It is located at the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao.

The patriotic education base offers a guided tour service and multimedia displays, enabling young people to gain fresh insights on Chinese history and culture, the development and achievements of the People’s Republic of China, and the history of Macao.

The patriotic education base has an auditorium, providing a space to show educational videos about historic events. The facility can also be used for cultural and artistic activities and training workshops for teachers and young people.

The patriotic education base is a comprehensive facility suitable for various activities, i.e. exhibitions, training and education, via use of multimedia formats including video. The multifunctional venue is also open to local schools and associations for organising patriotic activities, and thus for promoting loyalty to the country and Macao among the younger generation.
