The monsoon depression over the northern part of the South China Sea has developed into a Tropical Depression. It is expected to move northwest towards the vicinity of Hainan Island. Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 3 will be issued at 08:00 pm and the Strong monsoon signal will be cancelled. The weather in Macao will be unstable, with thunderstorms and heavy rain, and strong winds with gusts. At the same time, under the co-influence of storm surge and astronomical tide, flooding will occur at the inner harbor area from 1st to 4th of August in the morning, and the flooding height is expected to be less than 0.5 meters. Members of the public are advised to prepare preventive measures and also pay attention to the latest news.
