The Grand Prix Museum and the Wine Museum, both under the authority of Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), will join fifteen other museums in Macao to present the 2018 Macao International Museum Day Carnival. In this event themed as “The Mobile Museum – Taipa Houses X Taipa Story”, MGTO will host food and wine pairing workshops and a Grand Prix game booth, bringing residents and visitors on a journey to explore the culinary diversity offered by this Creative City of Gastronomy and the profound history of the Macau Grand Prix.
The Macao International Museum Day Carnival will be staged at the Taipa Houses on 13 May this year. The Grand Prix Museum will set up a “Car Racing Game” booth, where residents and visitors can experience the thrill of racing with remote control cars along the miniature Guia Circuit for the win that comes with a souvenir. On the other hand, the Wine Museum will host three 30-minute workshops titled “Intriguing talk about red wine and Macao as a Creative City of Gastronomy” at its booth in the Carnival. A guest speaker with professional qualifications will introduce the exquisite art of pairing different types of wine with culinary delights and give a relevant overview of dining etiquette.
Residents and visitors are welcome to join the above activities for free and sign up at the Carnival on the day, with limited quotas on a first-come-first-served basis.
